I haven’t updated this site in a long time, because I’m not the youth pastor at Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church anymore! I am now the discipling pastor, and this website isn’t going to be used for the youth ministry any longer (because most people are engaging through social media and our church website.) with that in mind,  If you’ve been using this website for updates for the youth group, I would encourage you to go to sardisfellowship.com to find information on all the goings on!

CITYWIDE- June 12th!

Just a reminder, WEDNESDAY JUNE 12th is CITYWIDE!  it’s for grades 6-12, it costs $2, and WE’RE MEETING AT MAIN STREET CHURCH!  That’s right, NOT at Sardis Fellowship, but at Main Street!  To hang out with a bunch of other youth groups in the city.  GREAT!

TUESDAY JUNE 4th!

 

Tonight, for the FUEL KIDS (grade 5-8), we’re heading to CASTLE FUN PARK!  It costs $15, we’ll be gone from 6:30-8:30, and you’ll have to sign in for this event!  Hope to see yah out!

TONIGHT: PARENT NIGHT

TONIGHT: TUESDAY, May 28th from 6:30-8pm is our FUEL PARENT NIGHT!  Parents, stick around to see what we get up too with fuel. Games, worship, and a talk meant to inspire kids to follow Jesus!  We will also spend some time talking about how to help keep your kids engaged with youth group over the summer.

WEDNESDAY, May 29th from 7-9pm is IGNITE, Devon is speaking!  Expect all your usual Sardis Fellowship Youth goodness!

TUESDAY, June 4th  from 5:30-8:15pm, it’s the FUEL WRAP-UP at CASTLE FUN PARK!  I think it’ll end up being between $15 and $20 a person.  Parents that can help car-pool, i’ll cover your admission cost as a thank-you!

WEDNESDAY, June 5th from 6pm-9pm, it’s our END OF THE YEAR BBQ and GRAD HONORING NIGHT!  If you’re graduating, you’re gonna want to be there, cause (among other things) you’ll get a grad gift!  Even if you haven’t been at youth much this year because Grade 12 took over, you’re gonna wanna be here on this night.

WEDNESDAY, June 12th is CHILLIWACK CITYWIDE YOUTH!  It’s $2 at Mainstreet Church from 6:45-9pm.

After June 12th, there will be some VBS preparation events where you can help get stuff ready for Soccer Camp!  The FULL summer youth Schedule should be posted online shortly, don’t forget to check out the calendar tab for an up-to-date listing of our events.

One last thing- starting in the summer, all of our upcoming youth events will be posted to our church’s website sardisfellowship.com, so you can get all of your youth information on the same website where you get the rest of your info about church!

YOUTH: the NEXT FEW WEEKS!

Here’s what the break-down at youth looks like for the next few weeks!

Tonight! (Wednesday, May 22nd)  7-9pm is IGNITE!  Graeson’s bringing the good word, the band is leading worship, the weather is great and we’ll run around and play some games (or just enjoy the sun, if you aren’t for running!) and snack is happening!  WHAT FUN.

YOUTH: May14th, May15th, MAY CAMP!

TUESDAY: 6:30-8pm for grades 5-8, show up! It’s rainy, so we’ll be playing tons of indoor games, eating delicious snack, and learning about God!  Specifically, the story of Joseph.  Good times!

WEDNESDAY:  7-9pm for grades 8-12!  We’re eating cereal, playing games (hopefully outside!), Rob’s leading worship, Roxanne and Devon are leading discussion, and it’s gonna be a great night!  Be there, and bring your may camp form if you haven’t yet!

FRIDAY, we leave 3pm SHARP so make sure you’re here with plenty of time to spare, and bring some extra money for McDonalds on the way there and the way back!

YOUTH, May 7th and May 8th!

TUESDAY from 6:30-8pm, it’s FUEL YOUTH! Grades 5-8, it’s gonna be great!  Games, snack, worship God, and we’re talking about being brave for your faith!  Invite your friends!

WEDNESDAY from 7-9pm, it’s small group night!
Grade 8-12 guys are at the church for board games, food, and probably video games too.  Maybe even some spike ball.
Grade 8-10 girls are going BOWLING at chillibowl (get dropped off there at 7pm) and are finishing the night at decades (get picked up there at 9pm!)
Grade 11-12 girls are headed to decades for games and coffee!

Youth: Wednesday May 1st!

THIS WEDNESDAY from 7-9pm, our grade 8-12 group meets!  It’s looking nice, so we’ll probably play a game outside, and Diana came in and made us a FEAST for snack (so look forward to that!)  Make sure you bring your May Camp forms in (may camp is only a couple weeks away, May 17th-20th, $125!  You can get your forms at the youth booth).

ALSO, THIS FRIDAY-SATURDAY, it’s the FUEL OVERNIGHTER!  Costs $5 per kid for grades 5-8.  The grade 5ers can come from 8-11pm, and the grade 6-8ers can stay over from 8pm-8am the next morning!  Those staying overnight should bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.

YOUTH: Wednesday, April 24th!

TONIGHT!  Eric Luesink is bringing the good word, Hannah’s leading worship, and the weather is hopefully gonna be nice and sunny so we can play a game outside maybe!?  Also, snack is pizza for last week’s winning team (and something not pizza for everyone else).  It’s gonna be a good night, so make sure you’re here!

Also, you can sign up for May Camp and get your forms in (for students grade 8-12, costs $125, let me know if you have dietary restrictions asap!) and for our grade 5-8 students, we’re having our overnighter not this friday but next friday!

Youth: April 16th and 17th!

TUESDAY NIGHT- Youth for grades 5-8 is from 6:30-8pm!  Make sure you sign up for our upcoming overnighter, which costs $5 and is from 8:00pm to 8:00am for grades 6-8 (grade 5ers are welcome to come from 8pm-11pm!).

WEDNESDAY NIGHT- Youth for grades 8-12 is a PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT! I realize I spelt scavenger wrong in the photo, but i figure you get the idea.  What is it?  It’s a game!  You’ll want to be at the church 7pm SHARP to hear the rules, get into groups, and get as many pictures on the list as you can before the deadline hits so that you can win pizza for your team!  Invite your friends and dress in weather appropriate clothing!
